Please give us a short summary of your website?

Through our website businesses can expect between 30-50% group health care premium reduction on the average. Our website provides tools and information so we can receive, analyze, strategize, quote and provide the fastest group health care insurance premium decrease and employee wellness turnaround, while maintaining high quality carriers for organizations with 3 to 100 employees:

What inspired you to launch your own website?

Increasing group health insurance costs is the most dangerous trend facing all businesses today. The price of inaction will severely affect the bottom line of these organizations; especially small businesses with 3 to 100 employees. We spent years figuring out ways to combat this problem and realized the only way small businesses can control healthcare costs, is by controlling the healthcare of their employees first. We developed a business model "Healthy Employees = Healthy Bu$ine$$" in which small businesses could save 15 percent, 25 percent - even 40 percent or more and increase their bottom line. At the same time employees benefit from a quality affordable plan, while becoming healthier.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

The name of our company and our website represent exactly what we do, group benefits. Our corporate motto "Healthy Employees = Healthy Bu$ine$$" represents our business model and what we provide for our clients...help their employees become healthy to control the cost of healthcare premiums.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

Businesses walk a fine line between providing employees with - expensive, feature rich - and - lower cost, high out-of-pocket - group health care plans. If they provide expensive plans, they put their business in dire financial stress. If they provide high out-of-pocket plans, they risk losing their employees. The trick to retaining employees without putting their businesses at risk is to give employees what they want – a quality affordable medical plan - while controlling healthcare costs.

Our business model and offerings make employees part of the decision making process, and by targeting at-risk employees we accomplish two things: 1) keep medical claims down and 2) make employees better healthcare consumers. Claims affect premium and premium affect employees when their share goes up. Therefore by making employees responsible for their healthcare utilization, businesses are giving them an incentive to become healthier.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

Our eventual goal is to help businesses and organizations view group health insurance from a wellness perspective rather than a sickness one. While most businesses environments today represent the old workers behind a cubicle, you are beginning to watch a shift of seeing them converted into true living spaces and healthy driven environments. Exercise areas, employee wellness and more human surroundings serving a more human driven work style are now becoming part of the business landscape.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

It takes time, experience, research, knowledge and understanding to view insurance and employee benefits from an entire different perspective. We have been doing this for over 15 years and it was hard to separate ourselves from the way "we always did things" and the “agent mentality”. It took a huge amount of hours and research to be objective and to look at alternatives and possibilities so we could come up with practical and applicable solutions. "Healthy Employees = Healthy Bu$ine$$" is the end result.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Getting business owners to understand if they don't take action now, the risk to their business is real. If they don't do anything and keep with the HMO game, the prices will continue to increase and could affect the businesses existence. If they stop offering employees benefits, especially health care, they will lose key employees, which could be damaging to their bottom line. Just increasing co-pays and deductibles without attacking the source of the problem - unhealthy employees - will not only hurt those unhealthy employees with high out-of-pocket expenses, but the other employees as well. No matter how you look at it, doing nothing about it, or just increasing out-of-pocket expenses…the one that eventually pays the price is the business itself.
